New organizations are being brought on one at a time. Request early access on laceuphq.com, and when LaceUp sends you a signup code, create your organization at laceuphq.com/start.
- Open laceuphq.com/start and sign in, or create an account.
- Enter your organization's name and the address you want (it becomes <address>.laceuphq.com).
- Enter your signup code if the page asks for one.
- Press Create organization. You are its owner.
Brand your site, write your releases, invite your staff, then build your first season or tournament.
- Admin → Organization → Branding: upload your logo and set your colors.
- Admin → Organization → Releases: add the liability release players agree to.
- Admin → Organization → Staff: invite the people who help you run things.
- Admin → Seasons or Admin → Tournaments: build your first event.
- Admin → Organization → Home page: write the page visitors land on, and publish it.
The bar across the top groups the admin into areas. Your name at the top right opens your own profile and password.
- Home opens your public site, so you can check what visitors see without signing out.
- Events: Seasons, Tournaments and Leagues.
- People: Players, Members, Credits and Retention.
- Tools: the Spin Wheel.
- Lacey: the assistant, her saved conversations and her settings.
- Settings: Organization, with Branding, Home page, Staff, Payments, Domain, Releases and Lacey in its side menu.
- Help opens this help centre.
Every organization has an address at <address>.laceuphq.com. You can point a domain you own at LaceUp, and it becomes the address on your links, emails and printed QR codes.
- Your public site has Home, Leagues, Tournaments and, once an event is completed, Results.
Admins run seasons, tournaments, registrations and players. Owners can do all of that, and they also decide who is on staff and where the organization lives.
- Only an owner can invite staff or revoke an invitation.
- Only an owner can add or release a custom domain.
- Only an owner can connect the account payments are made into.
- Only an owner can add, replace or remove Lacey's key.
- A role belongs to one organization. Helping run one gives no access to another.
When you are staff at more than one organization, a button with your organization's name and ▾ appears in the admin bar. Pick the other organization from it.
- Each organization has its own address, so you sign in again there.
